Chad & Becky's '92 XLT 4X4

 

 

Here are some pictures of my 92 XLT 4x4. It has come a long way, and is in the process of an engine swap as I write. It all started one night while a friend and I had nothing better to do, so we decided to take my little ranger out to the local trail. It had rained for four days straight, so the mud and water levels were a little more then average. Not thinking I told Matt to go through the big hole, and we went down like the Titanic. Nothing was showing of my truck accept for the rear end sticking up in the air. We literally had to swim to shore. I vowed that would never happen again.

Here is a list of my upgrades:

  • 4" Trailmaster suspension lift

  • 3" Proproformance body lift

  • 6" Superlift front springs

  • 33x12.50x15 BFG Mud-Terrains

  • 10" American Eagle alloys

  • Pre-runner bar equipped with 2 Dick Cepek Baja Lazers

  • Westin nerf bars

  • Warn manual locking hubs

FUTURE MODIFICATIONS:

  • In the process of a 351w swap

  • should be done by June 12th.

  • 10-1/2 to 1 compression (350+HP)

  • Built C4 transmision with B&M shifter

  • ( all conversion parts provided by Total Proformance, and Advanced Adaptors )

  • Straight axle Dana 60 in the front

  • Ford 9" in the rear running 4.56 gears

  • 35x14.0x15 SSR'S

  • Last but not least a roll-cage in the cab.
