Need to remove the front bumper on your 2019-2023 Ford Ranger? Here’s how:

1. Support the lower skid plate and remove the (4) bolts using a 15mm socket. See Photo 1.

2. Remove the (5) lower bumper bezel bolts using a 10mm socket. See Photo 2.

 

3. Locate the (5) clips in the center bumper bezel. See Photo 3.

4. Remove the clips from the center of the bumper using an auto clip removal tool. See Photo 4.

5. Remove the front bezel from the bumper. Release the 10 clips on the inside of the bumper. See Photos 5 and 6.

6. Remove the driver and passenger tow hook covers. See Photo 7.

7. Mark the OE location of the factory nuts. See Photo 8.

8. Remove the push pin using a auto clip removal tool and the (2) bolts from the bumper brace using a 10mm socket. See Photo 9.

9. Disconnect the sensor connector. See Photo 10.

10. Disconnect the adaptive cruise control module plug. See Photo 11.

11. Support the bumper. Do not get under the bumper without it being supported.

12. Using a 21mm socket remove the (3) nuts on each side securing the bumper to the vehicle. See Photo 12.

13. Remove the bumper from the vehicle. Set the bumper in a safe place to remove the sensors and wiring. See Photo 13.
