Relocated Brake Lines |
|
After adding a lift and extended radius arms on my 1983 Ford Ranger 4x4, the extended brake lines were no longer long enough. The solution was to drill a hole in the opposite side of the coil bucket and relocate the brake line. You can see the difference it made in the photo below: When the time came to lift the 1996 Ford Ranger 4x4, I repeated the same process. You can see where I zip tied the brake line to the shock to keep it from getting pinched in the coil spring.
