thanks mang
looks good, outa stay togather now...
I hope so. I never ripped t-case off before, but I did break my rear mount, so I changed to this poly bushed tube.
You've got poly motor mounts and a poly trans mount? Even with the t-case mount being rubber, the offset from the driveline centerline will make it resist more rotation than the poly trans mount will. That's my guess anyways.
motor mounts are vulcanized rubber, they are stiff. Trans mount is energy suspension poly. that new rear mount is poly.
this is my old style:
that mount ended up coming apart in clayton, which is why I changed to the poly bushed tube style.
I tend to agree with you, the trans mount resists lifting, the offset mount I have built supports the load of the doubler, and resists rotation.
look's sweet, lovin the skidplate.
as far as the terrain up here
wraped pipes + mud = the loose
along with the open air filter
I wish there were more rock's in the area, mud is fun but lead's to extremely high water bill's
how many times have I posted pics of my truck covered in mud? I hate the stuff. I would possibly get into it if it was all I had to play with, but I would definitly need to address way more mud friendly issues with my truck than just the filter and pipes wrapped
Like getting hit in the back of the head with dirt clods
Thanks for the compliment on the skidplate... especially since last summer when I made it, I did it on the cheap.
I had a buttload of 1/8" laying around from when I built the bed, and I didnt want to dish out the $200 some bucks for a sheet of 1/4 to build my plate.
so the entire thing is double sheeted:
and yes, its heavy.
