Did you go 2 into 1? What size off of manifolds, muffler, how much tailpipe? Stealing ideas for my 5.8, because that thing sounds great!!!
yes 2 into 1. I have mustang headers, 2.5" y pipe, 3" after the collector into a flowmaster 40 (going to swap a magnaflow or dynomax welded in), then 3" out, turndown where the back seats would be.

ok firstly before I post this video. I still have more power to unlock.....

This is all my pedal will open the TB, which isnt enough to make the TPS go into WOT. I need to figure a solution for this.

and here is my first drive video.

Not enough "throw" on the exposed cable mounting location at the TB? I've had this problem using non standard cables on bikes before & had to fab/bend a bracket to make the inner cable pull farther. If that mumbo jumbo makes any sense to you. :icon_idea: :dunno:
By the way, your B2 was my inspiration for persuing getting WCB2 from my Aunt. I love that thing!

Cable has enough throw, its an explorer 4.0 cable. Just not enough throw at my pedal. I think I will have to cut, bend, re weld it so at zero throttle its a little higher off the floor, about 1/2-3/4" im thinking, so it shouldnt feel weird.

And thanks:icon_thumby:

had a similar problem with my truck the cable had stretched. fixed it on the side of the trail using a nut as a spacer and ziptied the end of the cable to keep the nut from sliding back over the barrel end. jsut reminded me i need to fix that.

with it to the floor in 1st i couldnt get above 3500 rpm's

same thing happened with my 2.9.

this however is not the issue with my cable. My cable has no slack in it.

My pedal just doesnt have enough throw. it'll be an easy fix.

Now that your spacer is off, I took pictures and measurements.

Trickflow and new intake bolted on.

straight edge across old spacer, where my intakes broke.

.016" gap, on this side alone

the first two intakes:

first one that broke, with full torque, snapped completely off

second one that broke, which only got about 8lbs before it cracked

new pushrods, the rocker clatter is gone.

comp cams magnum series. 6.300"

dude....that outfit pulled some of the saddest customer dealings i have ever heard. awful ugly story really. worse is the end result...two broken intakes...awesome intakes at that..total bummer. i hope he steps up and does the right thing. most of us can understand with proper installation being the key in these situations, it is easy to have the preconceived notions get the best of you.....people ignorantly screw stuff up and expect vendors to make up for their failures which sux ass for vendors....but until it is properly investigated and objectively weighed the customer should be treated top of the line service first. i wont go any further then that.

pretty anxious to find out how she goes out in the wild though.:icon_cheers:
