So i'm new to Rangers, is the automatic in my 2008 a good transmission? Do i need to soft peddle it or can i treat her rough? 167,000 miles, from what i understand, never rebuilt. Shifts well, no apparrent issues. (Understand my fear, my previous truck was a DODGE,... Uuugghhhhhh..)

I have a bone stock 2008 Ranger XLT SuperCab 3.0 Auto with 3.73 open diff. I badly need a locker in the rear and am looking for suggestions. (Honestly i wished it were 4.10 or 4.56 geared vs the 3.73 too) Ang suggestions?
