I made one for a guy and used a trailer ball. He ran it for two years with no major problems. I am making one again for him(sold the truck) this week. I used a 30,000 # ball and milled two pieces of steel to make a clam shell. I will see if he has any pics of it. The only proble that he had was the frame strength where the track bar located. He later boxed the frame in and added some gussets
