My 02 ranger has the electric shift transfer case which means it has the cup style yoke for the front drive shaft. Now here is my question;

Will the regular yoke from an earlier 1354 swap out with the cup style yoke or not?

I picked up a drive shaft that has the double cardan joint and want to use it rather than the puny front drive shaft that came stock.
Thanks for any help on this!

That cup style yoke is part of the output shaft and does not come off. You have to split the case to get it out. Whether or not you can swap the older style shaft into the newer case I'm not 100% sure.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
Yes, you can.

You need to swap the whole shaft out with the shaft and yoke from an earlier 13-54. You have to pull the whole case apart to do it, but its not that hard.

Cool Thanks, wonder if it would just be easier to swap out the whole case assembly for an older one since I want a manual shift anyhoots.
