1983 Huntsman on a dually Ford Ranger chassis. 4 cylinder 4 speed manual. Do not know the condition of appliances/Hvac. What you see is what you get, bought to refurbish and don't have the time. Does run and drive, could idle a little better. Gets from Point A to Point B and turns heads the entire way.

I wonder if it is though?

The roll-a-longs had 2.8s but they were automatics correct?

Obviously the fact its a stick doesnt mean its not a 2.8...but im really curious. Didnt yota run the 22r in their motorhome chassis?

In 85 the 2.8 was mandated for the camper package which netted the highest payload.

The thing has to weigh a ton, neither the 2.3 or 4spd will help the gvw. They only hurt it.

With a deep od and decent gear my 5.0 knows my skamper is back there. Cut the power and half and spitballing half again more weight with more frontal area, I think even a 2.8 will be in the fight of its life.

I like that it has a cooler with cup holders in place of a center console.

I really want this even if it’s a 4 banger.

Good points on the GVW didnt think of that.

I personally dont think any of the RBV engines offered (even the SOHC 4.0) would really do a great job of lugging that thing around.

Id like to see what a 2.9 would do...just for my own curiosity.

It just said its a 4 cylinder...what if its a 2.0?:ROFLMAO:

Imagine this with 35s, 4wd and a small block v8? Front and rear lockers, dual exhaust, bush bumper and winches front and rear
