Figured id go over what im dealing with, whats been going on and whatnot for reference for someone else down the road maybe interested in doing this.
I started with the bed of the truck by removing the t-55 bolts that hold the bed to the frame which is 6 as well as disconnected the rear lights and gas hose and the plug underneath the tailgate so that everything was out of the way.
Picked up the bed off the frame and sat it on the ground at that point in time i inspected the frame rails and the tabs that secure the bolt to the frame.
Sneaky me decided that i would j-b weld the tabs to the frame so that when i put the bed back on the frame and stuck the blocks on i would have to worry about alignment issues.
After putting the bed back on i decided to start from the rear of the truck barely threading the bolts into position to still have wiggle room at the front of the bed to get all of them in. (word of wisdom) aligning the drivers mount on the bed is the hardest one, take your time on this one and possibly a few breaks.
after all are tightened down double check the bed bolts use the loc tite given to you also, reconnect the tail lights the plug underneath off the frame and connect your fuel hose.
You may notice that after the bed rises 3 inches your fuel hose dont want to go into its origional resting spot, no worrys! loose then clamp and you have about 6 inches of your neck inside the hose for adjustment with about 3 more inside the tube so tighten the clamp back down hard.
double check all lights work still get underneath and make sure nothings dangeling and after i get a good nights sleep i will do the cab and get back on here and post a few pics up as well as finish this.
