2.3 Turbo in 4x4 ranger?

My question is how hard is it and what all do i need i have a 1988 ranger 4x4 5 speed 2.9...i have the turbo 2.3 out of a 88 thunderbird and its been completely rebuilt with some goodies but what trans and how would i wire this beast up. Any help would be appreciated! also if anyone has did this i would love to see pictures/videos or build thread thanks

As far as transmission, you'll want to find a M5OD out of a 4x4 2.3L Ranger, they were used from '88 through '97 in that configuration, it's the strongest of the bolt in transmissions...

seems to me you have done almost the same set up i am aiming for hows the performance with the 35s?

It's a pretty nice setup, doesn't have a lot of low end so sometimes I have a hard time following my friends, but I usually make it :)
