Hi, i have a 2003 ranger with the 4.0 sohc. When driving at highway speeds like 65mph when i go to accelerate to pass someone it feels as if the a/c compressor is on at all times, but it is not.I actually disconnected the connector on the compressor. It has 195,000 miles on it.I replaced the timing chain on the back last year after it jumped timing(broken guide).Im not sure if i lined up the cam properly cause it has around 150-160 psi compression on that side and 170-180 psi on the other. When i go at WOT on the highway it shifts as if it were under load. The CEL has never been on,it idles perfect, runs perfect otherwise, has plenty of power at lower speeds, full tune up,no strange noises.Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
