4.0 missfire

been having a odd missfire on the #4 cylnder for a wile now and its to the point thats its geting worse with time put new plugs in and wires and fixed it for about a month and now its back and it runs bad in the moring when start it up when its cold runs great when warm was thanking it might be the coil pack but don;t know the truck just rolled over to 100.000 miles and it flew all the hell sence then any ideas what it might be??

do a compression test if you can and pull the plug and look at it ..

Doubt it is going to be a coil pack as you would have more than one misfire. I would bet you have a bad wire or plug, or the wire is not on all the way. Could be an injector also. Take the plug from #4 cylinder and switch it with another and find you the same length wire and switch it around too. See if the misfire goes to that cylinder.

well i done the injector switch and the miss fire is still on that cylnder so going to have to change the head gaskets thats all thats left to change plus i checked the coolent the other day and it was a gallen low but never run hot so it must be leaking coolent into the cylnder

How can you be sure it is a head gasket when it might be just the intake gasket.

well got to tear it down might as well do it all while im in their this is my dd so i have nothing else to drive so it can't be tour down for long perids of time
