Well it has come time that my 172,045 mile 4.0 ohv gets a rebuild after finding out my cam bearings are completly toasted. Very glad i pluled the motor down i can tell it was getting ready to spin one main bearing and one rod bearing. I am in the process of ordering parts to rebuild my motor. so far i have decied to port my heads and intake manifolid to give me a litlle better flow and hopefully free up more power all though that is comeinv with my 5 angle valve job i am going to have done my stock cam is still in usable shape but im considering installing the comp 410 cam has anyone tried to run this cam with out retuneing your ecu or does anyone know some one who has how did the truck run?

Being prior to 1996 your ECM is OBD I. Install it and go. Be sure to read up on this cam if I'm not mistaken there are threads dealing with different push rods.

If anything take pics and do a thread on it in the 4.0L section!

Good Luck!
