Someone has told me that I can swap in 4.0l injectors, and fuel pump, in my 2.9l and I will have more powa. Has anyone done this swap, and does it work? I tried searching but, nothing really came up. Thanks for any info.

No. The pumps are the same and changing injectors without changing anything else just screws with your computer...

+1 ^^^

Fuel injectors are not the same as Jets in a carb

Fuel injection uses a computer with feed back to set optimal air/fuel mix
MAF or MAP sensor tells computer the air volume
Computer sets 14:1 air:fuel mix
O2 sensor tells computer if exhaust is Lean or Rich

Computer adjusts injector's Pulse Width(open time) to either reduce fuel or add fuel for optimal mix and burn.
If you install "larger" injectors or raise fuel pressure, computer just reduces the Pulse Width(open time)

"optimal mix" can be adjusted by reprogramming computer or adding a MITM(man in the middle) type box, so driver can set/adjust air/fuel mix.

And NO, those "chips" don't do that, it requires more than that.
