I'm going to be swapping an Explorer 8.8 rear end this weekend. I plan on using the Explorer leaf spring as well.
I want a little bit more lift in the back and I've seen that you can use the 4x4 rear blocks to lift the rear end an extra 2".
A local shop said they could bend me up 2" longer 3 1/4" u-bolts.
Is there any reason I couldn't use the 2" rear blocks?
