From my experience the mustang upper wont bolt up the a truck lower or vice versa.

from my readings, you will want to run a mustang ecm as well due to the different airflows, in a nutshell, go to the JY and pull the upper and lower intakes and the ecm and go at er'.

Unbolt the truck upper/lower. Bolt the Mustang intake back in it's place. What's so complicated about that ?

Agreed. Most of the sensors are the same (IAT, ECT, etc.).
99% sure you'll need to use car fuel rails. But the injectors should be no problem.

Do you have the large A/C blower box?

Hello

If you run a mass air setup you have to use the proper cam with it. If its a H.O. computer you must use a H.O. cam. If you already have a H.O. cam installed and you want to convert to mass air its 4 wires that you add to you computer (if the pin outs are the same as a car). I converted my 88 Stang in 30 minutes. Check this site out http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=1 and also check this site out http://www.corral.net/ . Both sites have lots of info for you to read. Does the truck engines have the same firing order as the stangs have?

The firing order of a 94 truck 5.0 is the same as the Stang. The cam has only slightly less duration, and .030 lift on the intake side. (256/266 duration, .422/.445 lift with 1.6 rockers, LSA is 116, vs 116.5 for the HO cam) This is the F4TE truck roller we're talking about here, it's the same cam used in the Exploder 5.0.

There is more needed then just installing the four MAFS wires to do the job right. Check out this artical on doing the MAFS conversion right the first time.

Hello

On my Stang it was easy. 2 wires plug into the mass air computer and 2 you splice in and disconect the vacuum line from the map sensor. On an 86 t-bird you have to rewire for firing order and add the 4 wires (it will run good but the ecm is a bit confused) On a truck I don't know since I have not done one yet. Mabee in a few years.

The part of the blower box that sticks forward on the '94-older Ranger with AC is very similar to all the '95-later boxes. They need to be modified for the HO intakes, too.
Unless you want to run the Explorer 90deg egr elbow, or a '94/'95 upper.
The throttle body clears this part, but leaves no room for an intake tube/air cleaner.

You didnt wire in a/the VSS to your computer? How about the fuel moniter wire to the fuel pump relay? Did you relocate the thermactor wires in the computer connector? All this should be done for drivability and so the computer can make correct calculations for air/fuel and emissions out the tail pipe.

Rewiring the fuel injector firing order is a very bad thing to do!!!
Its easier to show you an artical why then try to rewrite it all out for you.

Hello

Remember this computer is for a 93 gt cobra installed to an 88 5.0l stang. The only code I get is something about the charging system and thats because I installed a 3g alt into it. I wish i could find my wiring refernces for the older computers. Like I said I do not know about truck ecms.
