Can you use a 5.0 plenuim on a 5.8 intake? F-250's used alot of the 5.8's with MAP system. I would like to change it over to MAF system I have F -150's and F-250's with 5.0's with MAF system just trying to figure out if I can change enough parts to change to 5.8 maf. Or what would you have to do to change to make it a maf system?

Mass air wont have anything to do with the Plenum. That takes place before the intake manifold. I have seen a Mustang A9L ecu run a 5.8. Depending on the year of the 5.0 in the F150, that ecu might work too. The 95 and up should have the same firing order as the 5.8's.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
you can use the stock ho plenum with a maf 5.0 setup to run a normal 351 easy enough with a bc bronco adapter.

there are other adapters to use complete upper and lower 5.0 intakes with a 351, but doublegaskets and waterpassages when not a necessity are something to avoid if possible ime.

Bobby, why would you need the Plenum? Is there something I am missing?

plenum in this case i assumed was the 5.0 car upper.

with the bc piece it bolts on the 5.0 upper easy enough to a 351 truck lower.

just use the truck injectors/rails and the 5.0 engine harness and pcm and get on with it. a tweecer or moates would be ideal to dial it in but not usually needed.

maybe i assumed wrong.
