Here’s the scoop, I recently did the Chevy 64in leaf swap and shackle flip with the Belltech 6400s. They are pro comp 5.5in springs, factory 2in lift blocks and I have 1.5 inch drop brackets which equals out to about 6.5 inches of lift. I’m not sure my skyjacker N8060 shocks will have enough travel to do that system justice. Siting level the shocks are extended to 25in, they max out at 30. Do you think I’ll need longer shocks for my suspension to reach its full potential? Or will 5 inches of drop be adequate?

On the web, the only sure way to know is to cycle the suspension.

I'll do a flex test today and post the results.

Turns out I’ll need longer shocks. The stump was only 28 inches high and my shocks maxed out, yet the springs still have a long way to go. (looks like I need longer brake lines in the front too)
