No, it is only like two wires.
If I swap the manual over, I have to put in a clutch and cut up my carpet. On top of that, I would have the wrong dash and a steering column (the explorer's is trashed so I can't use it). To much work haha

Also, my auto was rebuild less than 50,000 ago. It is still in really good shape. :icon_thumby:
oh. Yeah, that sounds like a huge pain in the ass. Never mind haha :icon_twisted:

All the stuff to make my 4.0 good as new!!

Check this out. Look how much I got my new 4.0 computer for!!!!! Thought it was a scam at first, but I called the number. I talked to they guy about it for like an hour. I love eBay sometimes! :yahoo:

Should have it all rebuilt by the end of the week!!!

It has been a while since I have posted.
Here we go.
I got the 4.0 in!!!!!
The wiring harness from a manual explorer to a auto ranger proved harder than I thought, but at 3 in the morning my brother and I finished it. :headbang:

We got that done. It is in my truck now, and it runs like a top!!
However, it did not come without trouble... when we got the wiring harness back into the truck the only way I could get the interior lights and my cd player to turn on was if i had the truck in reverse haha It turned out it was just one wire that the explorer had that my ranger did not lol. I just snipped it at everything went back to normal :icon_confused:
no pictures of the motor in yet.

Then I got this. My brother and I are both moving on to 3/4 ton running gear.

It is a 79 ford dana 60 HD full float.
I am narrowing it 5" to match the front. I am going a full spool, 35 spline axle shafts, and 5.13 to match the front.
So I cut the spindles off and then.....

I have the gears, master install kit, cut to fit 35 spline axle shafts, full spool, and ring and pinion waiting for me at home..... However, nursing school has been time consuming, and I have not gotten to make it home... :annoyed:

I do have a picture of the axle shafts though.

Hopefully I will be able to make it home soon.
I also have some 38" waiting for me at home too :icon_thumby:

One more thing I have been working on. Just a little sneak peak :icon_thumby:

Truck is looking sick!

You forgot to mention how stinkin long it took to bore out those spindles...
It took 7 HOURS to do 4!! with a lathe.. cant imagine doing it without one lol

And those 38s are mine! lol but I guess you can use them for a little till I get my axles under there. :icon_thumby:

Haha books x10 and they are not near as fun as the light bar.
Not sure how it works for other schools, but at the start of school we all had to buy book bundles. They had e copies and hard covers in them. They cost about $1700.... :annoyed:
However, I should not have to buy anymore books. :icon_thumby:

My 4wd group became a light bar/pod distributor. We are currently in the process of building brackets for different rigs (rangers included). We will be selling mounting brackets (vehicle specific) light bar packages. We are building the brackets for 1st and 2nd gen rangers today. We are using my ranger as the mock-up rig. Hopefully I will have a link to our website, with pictures on it of my rig, either by today or tomorrow if anyone is interested.

At my school they just have listed books for each class, and you can buy them any means you choose. Having said that, I'm not even done and I have a few grand into books...

That's sweet about the light bars. Can't wait to see how they turn out.
