i bought a 94 4cyl 5 speed ranger for really cheap and it didn't run right. I had the codes checked and it brought up egr valve(fixed it), power steering pressure switch(not fixed but thinks it's unrelated), and coil pack fail. I have replaced both packs numerous times with junk yard ones and no luck. narrowed it down to the ignition module because iw as told by a ford mechanic that it could be that, because these are designed to start on one coil pack and then the other one kicks on next. my second packisnt turning on. so i got a junk yard ids, wouldn't start at all, went to put the original on, now it wont start either. found a ids from the junk yard that had no corrosion ( like new) and threw it on, same thing. I'm thinking maybe the plugs for the ids but i don't know for sure. i checked to see if the ids is getting power and it is, don't know where to go from here. any help would be greatly apprecitated.
