I'm in search of a 4wd manual transmission to bolt up to the existing 4 cylinder engine. I'm performing a 2wd to 4wd conversion (I know of the headaches already but I have all of the parts due to a happy coincidence of buying a parts truck that I can't title for road use at all) and I want to keep it a manual but I need to be able to mount the transfer case to the trans. Any help or suggestions are welcome. The parts truck was a 97 4.0 4x4 auto, the truck everything is going into is a 96 2.3l 2wd manual with the Mazda 5 speed. Thanks in advance for your input.
