Ok.

The other week, it started with a bad miss at speed & under load, where it felt like it was bucking, or totally losing power under load.

It had just started raining heavily around here, and the moisture was high. Didn't do it prior to that. I've only had the truck for about a month.

Progressively got worse during the "rainy days" and it only seemed to do it under load and at certain RPMSs, so I figured it was the plugs or wires. When it stopped raining, or the engine got good and hot, it did it less or not at all.

Previously, a technician declared it was a cracked head, or the head gasket blown, however I suspected since it didn't do this constantly, it wasn't either.

Tonight, I started it up to pull it in the garage to put the new plugs and wires on. It was missing and acting rather odd. Put them on, and it ran great afterwards. I guess I'm not sure if it was the plugs or the wires, but the plugs were only about 2 buck a piece (autolite)

Hopefully this did the trick.

Will

Sounds like the wires. When they get old the will get cracks in them and draw moisture. Causing your missfire

Ya and plugs also cause misfire the same way. What I read, someone on here said the plugs spark 25 times a second.
