BS. Working on your own vehicle does not require use of aftermarket parts. I have yet to see a Ford dealership that won't sell parts over the counter, and you can order Motorcraft parts from a number of on-line wholesalers.It's pretty bad when you can't even work on your own car because of the inferior parts available through aftermarket.
But yes, I greatly prefer NAPA parts over AZ or Advance. I have far fewer problems with the parts and a much easier time getting replacements when the parts are wrong.
