Okay, so I did a search and all I could find were posts on bagging a truck, which is not my intention.

What I am looking for is a self levelling air bag system for my '88 X-cab project. On my current truck I run bolt on overload springs to keep my truck from dragging the bumper on the ground when hauling my camper. Problem is the thing rides like a tank when empty. I have another set of overloads for my '88 but I would really like to go with an air bag system so I can keep the nice ride when empty and not have to worry about re-aiming my headlights with my camper in the bed.

I have found several systems are sold for full size pickups that could be adapted to work but I was hoping that someone here may have on already installed. Anyone?

Thanks in advance!

the self leveling kits are expensive and add unnecissary complications which can only fail on you later down the road. i would just get a set of bags for the rear and run a manual control with gauge up to the cab. when your loaded inflate the bags untill your riding level. when unloaded let the air out. simple and effective :icon_thumby:

I thought about that, but I still like the idea of self levelling (for the coolness factor). That being said, I will most likely ditch the self levelling thing for simplicity's sake.

Ideally I would like run a system similar to that found in big rigs. It would make loading and unloading my camper a breeze! However, I have a tendency to get carried away with some ideas! HAHAHAHAHA!
