WTF people walking into 5 speed F150s everywhere and I searched for MONTHS and couldn't find one within 100 miles of me. Very Nice truck tho! I had the 5.4 V8 4wd etc for a while and just didn't like the gas mileage.

Not trying to troll, but you were struggling to pay to fix your old truck, but you can afford this?

On a side note it does look like a nice truck, never seen a manual F150.

Bought that with all that money you don't have huh?
.
Those are nice trucks, but they don't get great MPGs. Sometimes they were even worse than the 4.6 F150.

Since she said she got it for her birthday, I'm assuming someone GAVE it to her and she didn't have to pay any money for it.

The TITLE says she got it for her birthday.

The POST says she bought it for herself.

I just got tired of the ranger dieing and breaking down on me. I thought it was bout time to get a big girl truck.

So I went to the Ford Dealership and told them my price range and what I was looking for and BAM! a truck that fit EVERYTHING I WANTED! 2wd (4x4 sucks too much gas and driving 4x4 is out of my comfort zone.... I know how to handle 2wd pretty damn well, especially on ice and snow. They say "you should only drive a 4x4 in Alaska" Unless you're a pro like me and knows how to actually drive.)

I really do prefer a manual, I was driving my mom's automatic ford 500 for the past 4 days and HATED IT! one because it's a car, two its a fairly large car, and three.... I LIKE SHIFTING! lol

the original price for the truck was $14K, but it had when I bought it on thursday 11,363 MILES!!! HOLY MO FO!! The credit lady worked her amazing magic and was able to get me the truck for $10K!! PLUS A WARRENTY!!!

so my overal total for the financing is just of $12K!! my total truck payments inculding my full coverage insurance is just under $500 a month.

It's knew, it's big, my boyfriend can fit in it. I FREAKING LOVE IT! HAPPY ******* BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Turning 20, I felt like I needed a big girl truck. AND the fact that I did it all by myself!! I got financing and picked out the truck completely by myself. and the down payment is only $500!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way better than trying to put a couple thousand down. :icon_bounceblue: :icon_bounceblue: :icon_bounceblue:

I'm pretty ******* impressed with myself. AND My daddy appoves of my truck.. he didn't like the ranger all the much.

As for Lilly...... She's going to be hauled off... sadly it's time to say good bye. I tried advertising her on craigslist and got no bites, BUT there is a local mechanic who hauls off vehicles for free and that seems like its the best bet. I will be posting a lot more pictures!

Lol Alaskans are so cocky.

A 2wd will never handle as good as a 4x4. I don't care how good of a driver you are.

Now make sure you sit down and read and fully understand all your warranty papers. Know what is covered and what isn't.

I don't really understand how you are fine driving a 2wd but driving a 4x4 is "Out of your comfort zone". I've owned and run 2wds through the winter and it is definitely a different driving style, but I like knowing that I can rip a second stick back and have the steering axle pulling me along to help keep steerage.

W/e, my wife is like that too. She would go anywhere in her 2wd S-10 with no problems but can't seem to get the concept of when to use the 4x4 stick and it just makes her freak out that it is even there.
