This is Alice
My 85 Bronco II, 2.8 V6, A4LD trans, manual 4x4 and 3.73 LS stock axles. She had 4.10s from the factory but they’re on a different BII now. I posted on a thread earlier this year wondering about larger tires without lifting. Only fender trimming. She ain’t got nutin better to do so we gonna find out. My goal will be 33 to 35” 12.50 tires. I found a set of axles from a 91 Explorer. Complete hub to hub and drum to drum for $200 for both. (I know right) My 89 BII recently retired her engine but the transmission is a M50D and I’ve got an old 85 parts Ranger with my clutch pedal stuff. In the back of the barn is a set of Yukon 5.13s for a Dana 35 and an 8.8. I think I got all I need except the fender trimming tools. I’ve done a bit of work to this truck already. She was a $600 farm field find in northern Indiana 12 years ago. I put a rebuilt engine in her and a duraspark ignition. She runs fantastic for the lil 2.8 she is. Solid and dependable. So imma start a new project, like I really need one. I enjoy the build more than driving the damn things. A bit of work and to slow it down it’s crazy cold out there now. Hoping for late spring complete. I’ll keep my progress posted here. Stay tuned fellers
