Auto to maunal swap help

Ok, for those of you that saw my other post, my 91 explorer 4x4 with a 4.0 has a bad tranny. I took the one out and replaced it only to find out my junk yard tranny was crap also. Instead of trying to rebuild one of those or play with the junk yard again, i was offered a 5 spd out of a 91 explorer and pretty much the whole explorer cause it has alot of body damage and front end issues. question is, how much work is it swap from a A4LD to a M5OD..(I think)? pretty basic i assume but i'm just more worried about the computer, cause idk about that stuff to much.

The swap is very easy if you have a donor vehicle.

Parts Needed:
- Transmission
- PCM (same year, make, engine, etc)
- Clutch/brake pedal assembly
- Engine to transmission wiring harness
- CPP (Clutch Pedal Position Switch)
- Floor plate
- starter
- flywheel
- clutch kit
- Clutch master cylinder
- Slave cylinder
- Clutch hydraulic hose


Do a search, this topic gets brought up almost weekly. There have been several members who have done this swap including myself.

Ok thanks. I tried searching but couldnt find anything from explorer to explorer. All i could find was explorer to ranger or Broncon II
