Hey guys, I have a gen 2 ranger and I am looking at replacing the box with a gen 4 box due to rust and no good gen 1 or 2 boxes in my area. does anyone have some pictures of this swap?

this would require a lot of fab time as the gen 2's are skinnier than the 3's and 4's. you would have to cut the bed down the middle and weld it back together

If so not enough to make much of a difference.

I have seen pics of one on a yellow Rangers, the bodylines are in the same place but not shaped the same. Bolt on deal.

Umm.........

BOMK the frames are the same wideth............heres a Gen I with 93 up steppie:

I know that I put a 88 Bronco II 7.5 L/S under my Son's 93 & it was a direct bolt-in.

Body lines are off, but if ya had some body work/fiberglass skills, you could fill the body line on the steppie & it would look better IMO.
