How did you build your shackles? I was thinking about doing the same but my creative juices are running lower than my motivation, the Belltechs sounded like an easy way out. I have a set of RCD shackles from there 98+ 5.5" kit, but they are too long at 9" eye to eye.

I built on to my factory shackles. 4 years worth of beating on them and so far so good.
