Im building my 94 ranger into a wheeling rig, I found another members flatbed build on here and really like it and useing the idea for the base of my bed, I have a long box truck and was thinking of cutting the frame just after the rear crossmember between the rear crossmember and the bumper, will this increase my chances of cracking the frame because I am going to build a bumper with tabs for d-rings and the added stress will be even closer to the shackle mounts? or isn't it really anything to worry about? or should I leave it alone and build the flatbed the entire length of the frame?
