Body Lift Question

I have a 94 2.3 single cab, was told i could tuck 33's stock (would rub but would fit)
some people agree some dont, but if thats the case could i do 35's with a 3 inch body lift? if not would a level kit also work?
i see on the tech library 3 inch body lift is needed for 33s but rather would wanna hear it from people that have done it what they think.

not to start a shouting or debate nor am i saying the tech library is wrong but what would techinically fit with a 3 inch body lift max.

i would just install a 3 inch body lift and a leveling kit and just put some 33's, this would guarantee fitment and some room to stuff them in the wheel wells.
