I thought I remember read in TRS formun somewere about using a front drive shaft out of an explorer for a rear drive shaft in a bronco II. I did a search but didnt find it? I can remember how it was done.:icon_confused:

im not sure about the front shaft but you can have the rear shaft out of a explorer shortened and it will work in the bII

Most of the front drive shafts from Explorers are double cardon on one end. That is good or bad, depending on who you talk to. It will more than likely need to be shortened an inch or so. They have u-joints on both ends, are 30 1/2" long collapsed, center to center of the u-joints, the u-joints are 3 1/4" across the crosses with 1 1/16" caps.
My plan is to pick up a flange for the double cardon end that will bolt to the transfer case and use the flange from the stock rear drive shaft on the other end.
I am sure mine will have to be shortened about 2 1/2".
