I broke my rear steel brake line, replaced it, bled the brakes, and put in a brand new master cylinder and still cant build any pressure. My buddy who is a mechanic is stumped. I heard from someone it might be the proportion valve but i called my local ford shop and it goes for 230$ and would like to get some other opions before i spend more money. thanks for the help.

what year abs or rabs? you did bench bleed the master cyl right? if not you put a whole mess of air in the system and your gona be bleeding it for awhile. if its abs you made need a to take it in for an abs service bleed procedure done with NGS or IDS.

Yep, if that new master cyl wasn't bench bled you may never get all the air out.

gotta agree with these guys, master cylinder not bench bled would cause plenty of trouble. If there is air in the ABS it has to be electronically actuated to be bled completely. The master cylinder may have caused that. On the 94, I believe that it is only rear anti lock brakes (RABS). You can check by seeing if there are any speed sensors on the front wheels. If none, then rabs. If this is the case, I further believe that it is an electronic proportioning valve integrated into the RABS actuator.
