I posted about a loose metal coming from tranny. A transmission shop told me in the catalytic converter there is a honey comb that may have come loose and is causing rattling noise. I have no issues shifting. Or it could be a loose exhaust bracket.

Your thoughts please. I do hear loose metal rattling after having clutch slave put in. Dont they have to take exhaust off for that / If so, maybe something was left loose?

Thanks in advance

I highly doubt it's the insides of the cat. It MIGHT be the throwout bearing, but those usually squeal or chatter.

I'd look at all the heat shields on your exhaust... I have seen a LOT of these come loose and rattle like crazy.
