I'm currently going to be putting bigger wheels on my truck. I am going up to a 33x12.50R16. I want some input on what width I should use, 16x8 or 16x10. I have head both work but which is better. I don't go wheeling all the time just once and awhile. So please let me know.

I would think the 8 inch would work, and be cheaper. I am not sure though how an engine swap factors in to wheel choice.

10in wide would be the best choice, 8in is on the limit of a bad wear pattern and it just plain dont look as good

My credo
Perfection is worth the wait
I, too was perplexed on the "right wheel" thread with a "motor" poll.
Also, I LOL'ed at the choice of 5.0 and 302.

if you do more street riding stick with the 10" wheel. an 8" wheel will cause it to wear unevenly. you will be fine with a 10 and when you do go offroading and have to air down you still won't pop a bead
