Should be an easy one-what's the most common way to solve a squaky clutch on a 97 5-speed? I tried lithium spray around the pivot shaft, but didn't hit the right spot I guess.

replace the bushing on the pivot, you can find them in the "Help!" area in the parts store for like $5, mine used to be squeaky then one day POP and the linkage fell off the pedal, luckily it happened in my driveway

+1 to the radio. Unless you have a cadillac of a ranger, I just turn up the radio anymore when an old truck squeak shows up lol

Actually, when a new noise shows up I usually turn up the exhaust.

No cats, dualed out 4.0 with a flowmaster does tend to drown out everything when my foots in it. When I start it up in the morning I can hear it outside when I'm in the other side of the house through 4-5 walls lol
