I did the auto to manual swap a while back and I never hooked up the clutch switch. I don't have the clutch switch and I finally found the wiring for it tucked up beside the firewall. Can I just unplug the jumper and plug it straight into the clutch switch or is there extra wires that I need to go get from the bone yard?

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
My guess would be, if the connector mates to the switch, that you can just remove the jumper, plug it in and you're good to go.

there will also be two wires you have to jump down at the 16? pin tranny harness that plugged into the auto. One is a pink and I forget what the other color is... I'll check around and post back.

ok I believe the other wire is a teal/red wire. So connect the pink wire to that wire under the truck at the auto transmission plug. Also if you havent found them yet the wires for the reverse switch are in that harness also and can be spliced to the plug for the manual tranny.

I got the wires connected and have been driving it for a year :) I am just going to pick up the switch and see if it fits. Thanks for the replies
