I have 4 Rangers. 02,03,04 and 11. All but the 11 have 3.0l in them. I need to run compression checks on all of the 3.0s but can’t seem to find the proper adapter to the spark plug holes for my test set. They set so deep in the head of these Vulcan engines they either don’t reach at all because of the hex head or are the wrong thread/pitch. Anyone know where I can get this thing? I even tried Ford Speciality tools with no luck. Any help greatly appreciated.

thread is 14mm x 1.25.
my hose has 2 sizes, the larger gets in the way on Vulcan heads.
both ends of the adapter are spark plug threads, M & F

I got this kit for $95 and it worked well on my 3.0 engine

OTC 5605 Deluxe Compression Tester Kit with Carrying Case for Gasoline Engines

I have one cylinder with compression of just 35lbs. Unfortunately I have had to keep driving it for a while like this. My assumption is that it is from a common issue of burned exhaust valves in this year's batch of engines, but I'm going to be doing a leak-down test next using this to confirm before buying new cylinder heads. I suspect the leak down tester could have been used for compression testing too, which would have saved $100.
