Finally able to get engine installed in my 85 Ranger 4x4. Engine is Cologne 2.8ltr bored 0.030 over, Racer Walsh cam, Melling Hi-Vol Oil Pump, all new gaskets & tstat, new clutch/flywheel assembly, new dist/ coil/wires, new fuel pump, and too many other parts to list.
Long block assembled by machine shop that completed all machine work needed.
Completion of engine assembly and paint done as father/son project as when my son gets older he will be driving the pickup; he has named the CRITTER GITTER since we use as DD and Hunting rig.
Prior to engine install we replaced the clutch slave and master cylinders, replaced power booster and brake master cyl, repaired frt cab mount brackets, installed poly body bushings, and undercoated frame and cab.
