I am having trouble with my truck's cruise control. I looked at all the lines and they are in good condition.
Absolutely nothing happens when I try to engage it from the steering wheel...I am not sure if there is a light that is supposed to come on or not. There is suction all the way to the vacuum reservoir but if I disconnect any of the lines coming out of it there is nothing. I am not really sure how it is all supposed to work.
From what little is talked about cruise control on this site, it seems like there are really 3 parts to the system. The steering wheel, the little guy attached to the throttle, and then the lines and reservoir....but I am not really sure how to check any of these. I have never messed around with CC on any vehicle and it didn't work when I bought the truck.
Any help would be appreciated!
