HI,
I have an 03 Ranger that has a hacked up wiring harness. I have followed the diagram posted at the Ford Ranger Radio Wiring Diagram at the link https://www.therangerstation.com/how-to/interior-and-interior-electronics/ford-ranger-radio-wiring-diagrams/ but am not having any luck.
I can not get the stereo to power on. If i read the chart right my
Battery/power should equal light green/violet
Fused Ignittion should be yellow/black (this seems right as when i put a test light on this one it only light ups during ignition)
Ground should be black
I'm a bit confused though as this "specific to 2003" https://therangerstation.com/tech_library/pdf_documents/2003_Ranger_Radio_Wiring.pdf shows that
Battery/power is still light green vioelet
fused ignition list yellow/black and red/black
ground list black and black/light green.
Do i need to pigtail those grounds and fused ignitions together?
Thanks for any help offered!
