found a dana 44 from an IH scout the guy emailed me some pics of it and it all looks good except i cant tell wether its a ride or left side diff, im not sure if the scouts wee sprung over or sprung under.help guys lol. here's the pics

its a passenger side drop axle

It looks right side spring under the axle by looking at the ball joints

yep all scouts are pass. drop and leaf under. those are hard to swap to leaf over as the pumpkin gets in the way of where the leaf plate would go. I think on extreme 4x4 they took a chevy pumpkin with the scout tubes to be able to do leaf over, while being able to use stock axle shafts.

me and my buddy took a chevy 44 cut the tubes off, fliped the pumpkin around the welded the tubes back on. and bam you have a drivers drop axle. its easy to do...
