So for my fellow enthusiast, I have a question regarding Dana 35 TTB front swap.

Did the swap and a leveling kit, and of course the front drive-shaft is too long...
I plan on doing a 4" lift (addition 2" in the front from where it is with the leveling kit), will I need to shorted front shaft at that point? If so do I still need the 1.5" shortening, or less (1", 3/4", etc)?

If you can, rather than having the stock shaft shortened, check nearby salvage yards for a front shaft from a truck that had the FM145. The shaft is shorter by the perfect amount.

That way you can use the original shaft when you lift it.
