i picked this up at the wrecking yard today but i thought my ends would attach to it? it is a first gen explorer shaft...is this correct?

only if you have an explorer trans and front diff, otherwise its too long. I have a B II front driveshaft. its from an 84. pm me if you are interested

That would work on an 88+ or an 86 + with auto trans, but you need the 1354 transfer case to use it was a front shaft.

A lot of guys use them as a rear shaft, but it takes some modification.

Sorry guys..I wasn't very clear..its for the rear of my bronco...I'm hoping after I do the lift that the length will be fine. Not sure about the ends though....

Measure the spacing on the bolt flanges. It should be 2.75". If so, I might have a set.

wow! cool...i just measured and bolt center to center, measured diagonally is 3.5 inches. let me know if you have them, let me know what you want for them....im going to need them. im doing my lift this weekend and will know after how long my driveshaft needs to be.

i measured and it came out to 2.5 center to center....should i have measured on the next side too? are they spaced evenly?

im confused...i measured again...2.5 from hole center to center. total flange width measured from edge to edge is 3 inches. what am i doing wrong? stock rear end and stock transfer case. ill pm you my info...

well, it seems that my driveshaft problem has taken another turn...i have all the parts and cut the yoke like i was supposed too but it is not going to be long enough!! if i had a different trans, it would work from what ive been reading...from rear to transfer case, it needs a 35 inch shaft. im frustrated...
