2008 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 V6 auto trans.
Hi all, every 2 months or so I have to add about 8-10 ounces of brake fluid. Can't find any leaks. Checked all lines, connections, wheel cylinders, calipers etc. Mechanic did the same.
Brakes work fine. Not as solid as my newer 2011 escape, but seems ok. Mechanic said for a Ranger, the brakes seem better than most.
Thought maybe the fluid was going into power brake booster on firewall and getting sucked into the engine through the vacuum line. Pulled the vacuum line and it is clean and dry inside.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Joe
