Does ANYONE actually have a 2023 Ranger yet?

Touchdown!

Just got home from the drive from Long McArthur in Salina, KS. Great folks. Dan Penner helped me, and I even got to sit down and visit with Tim, AKA "Ford Video Guy".

My wife sent me a picture of one on the highway the other day. I checked Ford's site and figured it must have been a wrap because they don't show green on there and I have never seen a green one otherwise.

Its cool they brought back green... even if it was only for a little while.

It was from the Splash package. I don't believe it was a color you could order on any of them.

Correct, IIRC besides the green there was a desert tan type color and a fancy white that was offered as well. I forget the total number of splashes Ford was going to make.. but it wasn't that many.

I havnt seen a single splash up my way, and we seem to be way ahead of the curve when it comes to new vehicle sightings.

Yeah, the green was Splash only. I wanted the green, but I also wanted a Tremor… The Tremor won that battle.

I read an article that 2023 will offer a manual transmission but I can't find it on the build site under any obvious selection (e.g power train).
"Owners may have the option of a six-speed manual transmission..." 2023 Ford Ranger To Feature New Updates | Kenny Ross Ford South

Does anyone know if it actually exists and what it might be buried under? I elected the 4x4 package but still just the 10spd auto. I really dislike automatic transmissions. Only ever owned one because a stick wasn't an option (79 Capri 302).

I think Kenny Ross Ford copied and pasted from some export or South American info. Says a stick will be available with the diesel (it always has been) but the diesel is not available in the U.S.
You live in Western PA?

Nah, south of the border in the free state of Florida :)

Are any of the new gen Rangers supercab (4 door, but not crew cabs)?
Nice RED truck CMOS, looks like the same color as my '97, maybe.

Ok, just wondered. Kenny Ross is a large chain of dealerships in the Pittsburgh area.

Yes, I have one. The Crew Cab is a lot more popular and you see a lot more of them. I have no need for a full back seat and I'd rather have a longer bed. My son's girlfriend rode in the back seat Saturday night when I gave them a lift home from the bar (they live nearby and walked) and that was the first time in at least a year and a half that someone was in the back seat. She's 5 foot nuthin so no fitment issues.

Meh, just a little rain so far. The worst of it will pass north of us. I-80 and north is where sh*t gets bad.
