Not loose. One question I have, can anyone tell me the torque values for the 4 pinion flange bolts?
^^^You must be talking about the pinion nut, I think his question was about the four bolts holding the driveshaft to the flange. But it looks like he caught that by looking at his last two posts. Not loose.
I've never even torqued a set.
If I don't have my Ford driveshaft socket and my 1/2" impact, I have a special procedure.
As tight as I can get em with a wrench. Then double up with another wrench and tighten as tight as I can. Then I put another 1/4 to 1/2 turn on them by hitting the wrench with a hammer.

Sounded to me like he was talking about the 4 drive shaft retaining bolts.^^^You must be talking about the pinion nut, I think his question was about the four bolts holding the driveshaft to the flange. But it looks like he caught that by looking at his last two posts.

Good job.

Yea, my knowledge of the proper terminology sucks.Sounded to me like he was talking about the 4 drive shaft retaining bolts.
Also, I'll give you $20 if you can show me a good way to use a wrench on a pinion nut.
