I need to extend my front brake lines as i have a 4" lift fit with stock lines on front. I was looking at this post...http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/ReplacementBrakeLine_Front.html ...but im not sure I follow it. The first part says to piece two lines together for each side, but then the second part gives two different part numbers for L and R side :icon_confused:. Can someone please clear this up for me? Thanks!

The way I read that is there are three different people talking about what they did for brake-lines. The second person is talking about different lines than the first was talking about. I used the second persons lines on my truck but removed the metal piece from the middle of the line.

Make sure that you figure a way to hold the line away from the tire as I wore a hole in the line before I learned.

Good luck,

Richard

So do the second lines attach to the factory lines or replace them?

So I ended up buying the Raybestos BH 38622 & BH 38623 lines, I seen on the tech lirary to run the lines on the opposite side of the coil tower so the lines do not run across the coils, so I figured I would do this as well while I'm changing the lines. If I understand correctly, the passenger side is a bolt in but the drivers side requires some modification. can anyone fill me in on this?

IIRC I had to bend the hard line a bit to fit best.
