since yesterday my 79 bronco runs perfect, so probably by the weekend if shes still going good ill be making a winch mount for a superwinch8500

yes It goes in my reciver. I dont have floor space to dedicate to a perminant mount tube bender so the stand slides into my reciver and a jd2 model 3 bender mounts to it, the bender is mounted on 45 to the truck so I can bend any length tube to 90 degrees without hitting the truck, i'll post another pic when I get everything assembled
you get anything done with that peice since i last seen it?

Nope, havent worked on it all winter. cage work starts SOON. The plan for this year is bumper to bumper cage, hang all the fibber glass and finish the suspension.

Try welding in little circles and if you have a good helmet you can see the puddle form

What kind of rod and machine do you use? I'll bet with cleaning the rust and mill scale off that plate first you'd see a difference, if you haven't tried that already.

Bogger slow down and turn the heat up. Yeah what rod are ya using too? You should have the rod at about a 0 to 10 degree back angle and feed it into the puddle. Once you see it form just start making little C's all the way forward or the circles. Some guys also push it forward than pause than push forward and pause. send us some new pics man

good luck

Im not trying to brag about my welds, they are not as good as they could be but these were done with a 120V Lincoln SP125 that was given to me free cause "it didnt work" I put a new liner in it and have been using it for 2 years with 030 flux core wire
